About me

…to make it simple……….ok….I can´t.

I love to fool around so don´t take me too seriously 😉

Music is my religion.

I love clothes, movies, media. I read a lot of magazines. I don´t mind the commercials on tv…..

I love my boyfriend & my wonderful friends! AND my family rocks!

I love to love.

I hate violence. It discusts me. It´s destructive & weak. Behave & grow the fuck up!

I have at least 3 personalitys &  will try to show some pics of them while updating this post….in case I would get some more..

This is a blog where my wonderful superficial side gets to rave. Like a kid in a candy shop.

So. Now you think you know me already? 😉

    Dear Roxy,

I came across your b&w photos while searching for info on Giovanna Mezzogiorno. Yes, she has a haunting face, true.

Her late father, Vittorio Mezzogiorno, was one of the incredible stars in the Italian TV epic series, The Octopus. I found it and started watching it perhaps in early 2011 on public TV in Los Angeles, and became mesmerized by it.

Mainly because of the classical sculpted face of her father, Vittorio. Never have I seen such a face, able to show the sorrow and regrets of his tragic life, and without dialogue. My god the Europeans are so far ahead of us Americans in displaying character without excess talk, action, or plot.

If you are familiar with him, then of course you know where Giovanna got her sorrowful yet complex looks.

I’ve found a photo online of the two of them together, when she was young. She was nineteen when he died of cancer in 1994.

A photo portfolio of men in b&w would be nice, no?

    Thank you.

      Dear mr Brussell,

thank you so much for your comment. I was very happy to read it, so qualitative & informative.

I’m not yet familiar with Vittorio but I will look after The Octopus, would love to see it! Your writing is very personalized, I can tell you are a writer.

Have you seen the movie L’ultimo bacio with Giovanna?

I found the photo you are writing about, with her and her father when she was young. He has a strong carisma & burning eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing The Octopus.

      Thank you again!

I will make a portfolio of men in b&w, can’t wait to see what photos I can find out there….

      Sincerely Roxy
